I moved my family here 4 years ago from Indonesia. My kids have never been in the US before. My oldest son is a straight A student in high school and was trying to be a part of the crowd. He wanted to impress a girl that he met and found out how bad it can turn out when you don’t understand the US laws and how the school system views pranks. He told her that some guy had come to his house and given him a hit list with several students’ names on them for him to take care of, but that her name was not on it. My son was charged with Terroristic Threats and giving a False Report to the Police. I have to say living oversea for the last 15 years I was lost as well. When my son was arrested on both charges my wife and I were scared and feared the worst. My son had just turned 17 and I did not understand the law in Texas and how he was charged as an adult.

I went online looking for a lawyer that had experience with criminal and juvenile cases. I found Jim Sullivan’s website and reached out to him. He took the case at an affordable rate and walked us through the legal processes of what was going to happen. After he reviewed the charges and what happened he told us our best case and worst case scenario. We worked with Jim as he dealt with the DA’s office on both charges. After a process Jim was able to get both cases dismissed without even having to set them for trial. This was the best news we had over the last 6 months. Thanks Jim for the time and hard work you have shown to my family and son.
