James Sullivan is an experienced South Houston Criminal Defense Attorney. For over 25 years, Sullivan has successfully fought the government in Jury Trials on behalf of clients in criminal and juvenile courts.

In 1995, Sullivan defended a habitual felony client accused of committing an aggravated robbery at nighttime right across the street from the South Houston Police Department. The chief of police was attending a function at a church across from the robbery. He came outside and later claimed that he was able to identify the accused despite the darkness. The accused’s vehicle was left behind at the scene, however the vehicle  was reported stolen soon thereafter. Sullivan fought the case at trial. The accused was facing 25 years to life in prison. After a brief deliberation, the jury returned a not guilty verdict.

James Sullivan graduated from Baylor University in 1990 with a degree in Journalism, the ideal degree for investigating, discovering and telling winning stories in court. In 1993, Sullivan graduated from South Texas College of Law, which is nationally recognized as the top law school for trial advocacy.
